FAQ

Sage X3 connector FAQ

What can I sync with the Sage X3 connector?

Sage X3's core objects — Business Partners (Customers and Suppliers), Products, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders and custom fields — can sync with any of 194 other systems. Every integration is real-time and bidirectional, with field-level mapping and conflict resolution.

How does Stacksync connect to Sage X3?

Via SOAP and REST web services published from X3 business objects; direct SQL access to the underlying database on-prem, authenticated with Dedicated web-service user credentials (Basic auth) against configured connection pools. Changes are detected as follows — scheduled polling; no general webhook surface on the classic web services layer. Stacksync manages rate limits, retries, and schema changes automatically.

Is the Sage X3 connector two-way?

Yes. Changes made in Sage X3 propagate to the connected system and vice versa, in milliseconds. One-way flows are also supported when a direction should stay read-only.

How long does a Sage X3 integration take to set up?

Most Sage X3 integrations go live in minutes: authenticate Sage X3 and the other system, pick objects and fields, and enable the sync. No code and no infrastructure to manage.

Is Sage X3 data secure in transit?

Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, GDPR and HIPAA compliant. Sage X3 data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means records are not retained after a sync operation.
