Two-way sync
Changes in Salesforce or Zendesk instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Salesforce and Zendesk in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
The CRM is supposed to be the record of every customer relationship, but customer-relevant information also accumulates in the other tools a team runs. Whatever Zendesk holds or produces that touches a customer, whether conversations, payments, replies, enriched data, or notes, the CRM only benefits if it arrives without someone copying it over.
Stacksync connects Tickets Comments, Users, Organizations, Attachments in Zendesk to Products and Price Books, Custom Objects, Accounts, Contacts in Salesforce with bi-directional, real-time sync. Activity and record changes in Zendesk update the matching contact or account in Salesforce, and CRM data flows the other way wherever Zendesk can store and use it.
Tickets and conversations attach to the right contact and account in Salesforce, so sales sees open issues before the next call.
Enriched fields land directly on records in Salesforce, and refreshes keep them from going stale.
Owner, lifecycle stage, or account details from Salesforce sync into Zendesk, so people working there have the context without switching tools.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Salesforce objects | Zendesk objects | |
|---|---|---|
| Tasks and Events Activity records; usually read-only in syncs to feed activity reporting. | Tickets Comments Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Products and Price Books Catalog and pricing data; commonly mastered in an ERP and written into Salesforce. | Users End users and agents; matched to CRM contacts to keep requester data consistent. | |
| Custom Objects Org-specific tables with the __c suffix; discoverable via describe metadata so field mappings can be generated. | Organizations Company groupings for users; typically kept aligned with CRM accounts. | |
| Accounts Company records that anchor most syncs; typically mapped to customer tables in a database or ERP. | Attachments Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Contacts People linked to Accounts; synced two-way with marketing, support, and warehouse person records. | Ticket Forms Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Leads Unqualified prospects; often written into Salesforce from enrichment or product-signup pipelines. | Tickets The central work object; synced to databases for SLA and volume reporting or mirrored into engineering tools. |

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Salesforce and Zendesk: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Salesforce's Tasks and Events and Products and Price Books), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Salesforce and Zendesk: Where Zendesk handles support or shared inboxes; Where Zendesk supplies contact or company data; Where Zendesk can store CRM context: fields kept current. Tickets and conversations attach to the right contact and account in Salesforce, so sales sees open issues before the next call.
Salesforce: REST, SOAP, and Bulk APIs. Authentication: OAuth login via a Salesforce user (browser-based authorization flow); requires "API Enabled" permission for polling mode, plus "Author Apex" and "Customize Application" OR "Modify All Data" for trigger mode. Zendesk: REST API. Authentication: OAuth app authorization: enter your Zendesk subdomain (from {sub_domain_name}.zendesk.com) in Stacksync Connections and click "Authorize App". Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Zendesk: Docs do not state change-detection mechanism or read/write/CDC direction details. Salesforce: Non-writable objects, non-triggerable objects (trigger mode), and tables without a last_modified_data column (polling mode) cannot be synced yet. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Salesforce and Zendesk without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Salesforce and Zendesk records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Salesforce and Zendesk connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Salesforce–Zendesk integration in-house.
