Two-way sync
Changes in Pigment or Shopify instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Pigment and Shopify in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Finance and sales describe the same customers in different systems. Shopify knows the relationship: who the contacts are and what is in motion with the account. Pigment knows the money: what was invoiced, what was paid, what is overdue. When the two are connected only by exports, each side works partly blind.
Stacksync links Users and permissions, Applications, Metrics, Dimension lists in Pigment to Orders, Customers, Abandoned Checkouts, Products in Shopify with bi-directional, real-time sync. New customers, updated billing details, invoice status, and payment activity move in whichever direction you configure, field by field, with conflicts resolved by rules you set. The result is one version of each customer, visible from both sides.
When a contact or address is corrected in Shopify, Pigment gets the update before the next invoice goes out.
Finance sees the account owner and relationship history from Shopify when chasing a balance, and sales sees that the chase is happening.
A won opportunity creates or updates the customer in Pigment with the right billing details, so invoicing starts without re-keying.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Pigment objects | Shopify objects | |
|---|---|---|
| Tables Row-based transactional data loaded into models from source systems | Abandoned Checkouts Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Scenarios Versions such as budget, forecast, and actuals that give exported figures their context | Products Catalog entries; often mastered in a PIM or ERP and written into Shopify. | |
| Data imports Scheduled loads that bring actuals from ERPs, CRMs, and HRIS into the model | ProductMedias Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Users and permissions Access controls governing which model areas a sync can touch | ProductVariants Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Applications Planning models organized by domain such as finance, sales, or workforce | Orders Purchase transactions; pushed to ERPs for fulfillment and billing, and read into databases for reporting. | |
| Metrics Multidimensional values holding plans and actuals; the main target for inbound data | Customers Buyer records; matched to CRM contacts for marketing and lifetime-value analysis. |

Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Pigment and Shopify: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Pigment's Tables and Scenarios), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Pigment: REST-based import and export API. Authentication: API keys, issued separately for import and export. Shopify: GraphQL Admin API (primary) and REST Admin API (legacy). Authentication: OAuth via a custom Shopify app: admin creates an app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard, enables required API scopes, sets the Stacksync redirect URL, then supplies shop name + Client ID and Client Secret to Stacksync. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Pigment: Actuals typically flow in from source systems on a schedule while plans and forecasts are edited inside Pigment, making it primarily a data destination. Shopify: Setup requires the Shopify administrator to create a custom app in the Shopify Dev Dashboard (no one-click OAuth app). Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Pigment and Shopify without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Pigment and Shopify records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Pigment and Shopify connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Pigment–Shopify integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Pigment and Shopify. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
