Two-way sync
Changes in Drift or SAP instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Drift and SAP in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Drift holds the customer relationship; SAP runs the operations and records behind the business. The two overlap wherever the same organizations and transactions matter to both, and when that overlap is bridged by re-keying or overnight batch, each side spends the day working from stale data.
Stacksync syncs Users, Playbooks, Meetings, Contacts in Drift with Materials (Products), Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Outbound Deliveries in SAP field by field, in real time, and in both directions. You decide which system owns which fields; Stacksync keeps every copy consistent and resolves conflicts by rules you set.
Where both systems keep customer or organization records, corrections in either propagate to the other, ending dual maintenance.
Owners, territories, and org structure informed by SAP stay current in Drift.
A deal won in Drift creates or updates the customer in SAP with clean data, so fulfillment and invoicing start without re-entry.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Drift objects | SAP objects | |
|---|---|---|
| Meetings Meetings booked through Drift, synced to CRM as sales activities. | Production Orders Manufacturing orders exchanged with MES and scheduling systems. | |
| Contacts Visitor and lead records created or matched from chat identities; the main CRM-sync object. | Inventory / Stock Plant and storage-location quantities synced to storefronts and planning tools. | |
| Conversations Chat threads with status and participants; the center of Drift's data model. | Cost Centers Controlling masters read for mapping costs in finance integrations. | |
| Messages Individual messages within a conversation, used for transcript and intent analysis. | Business Partners The unified customer and supplier master in S/4HANA, the anchor object for CRM and procurement syncs. | |
| Accounts Company records used for account-based routing and targeting. | Materials (Products) Item master with plant and sales views, synced to commerce, PLM, and CRM systems. | |
| Users Agents and sales reps who own conversations and meetings. | Sales Orders Order documents written from external channels and read for status and fulfillment. |
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Drift–SAP connection.
Changes in Drift or SAP instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Drift or SAP data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Drift or SAP record.
Track your Drift ⇄ SAP sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Drift and SAP.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Drift and SAP with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Drift and SAP objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Drift and SAP: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Drift's Meetings and Contacts), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Common patterns for Drift and SAP: One customer master; Where SAP manages people and org data: keep Drift aligned; Where SAP handles order-to-cash: closed-won flows through. Where both systems keep customer or organization records, corrections in either propagate to the other, ending dual maintenance.
Drift: REST API. Authentication: OAuth 2.0 via apps registered on the Drift developer platform. SAP: OData (v2/v4) APIs on S/4HANA; BAPI/RFC and IDoc on ECC and on-prem systems; SOAP services. Authentication: OAuth 2.0 or basic auth via communication arrangements on cloud editions; SAP user credentials for RFC on-prem. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Drift: API access is granted to OAuth 2.0 apps registered through the Drift developer platform, with org-scoped tokens. SAP: Direct access to the underlying HANA database is generally restricted, so change capture relies on business events, change pointers, or API polling rather than database-level CDC. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Drift and SAP without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Drift and SAP records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Drift and SAP connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Drift–SAP integration in-house.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
Let your users access Stacksync from your centralized user management systems. Works with Okta, Azure, Google SSO and more.
