Two-way sync
Changes in Airtable or Zendesk instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Airtable and Zendesk in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Engineers integrate with tools like Zendesk through APIs, which means auth, pagination, rate limits, webhooks, and retry logic, all maintained forever and all different for every tool. Meanwhile the data would be trivial to use if it simply lived in Airtable.
Stacksync mirrors Attachments, Ticket Forms, Tickets, Tickets Comments from Zendesk into Tables, Records, Fields, Views in Airtable and keeps both sides in sync in real time. Your services query the database directly, and inserts or updates your code makes flow back into Zendesk, so the tool and the database never disagree.
Records from Zendesk are ordinary rows in Airtable; join them, index them, and use them in application logic without touching the vendor API.
Write to the synced tables in Airtable and Stacksync propagates the change into Zendesk, replacing custom integration code.
Updates in Zendesk arrive as row changes in Airtable, so triggers, jobs, and services can respond in near real time.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Airtable objects | Zendesk objects | |
|---|---|---|
| Views Filtered subsets of a table that can scope which records a sync reads. | Tickets The central work object; synced to databases for SLA and volume reporting or mirrored into engineering tools. | |
| Linked records Cross-table references that carry relationships between synced tables. | Tickets Comments Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Attachments File fields exposed as expiring URLs that syncs can mirror to other systems. | Users End users and agents; matched to CRM contacts to keep requester data consistent. | |
| Collaborators User fields useful for mapping record ownership to accounts in a CRM or database. | Organizations Company groupings for users; typically kept aligned with CRM accounts. | |
| Bases Top-level containers; each base has its own API endpoint and schema. | Attachments Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. | |
| Tables Map to sync tables; schema is readable through the base metadata endpoints. | Ticket Forms Synced with incremental and full sync per the Stacksync docs. |
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Airtable–Zendesk connection.
Changes in Airtable or Zendesk instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Airtable or Zendesk data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Airtable or Zendesk record.
Track your Airtable ⇄ Zendesk sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Airtable and Zendesk.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Airtable and Zendesk with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Airtable and Zendesk objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Airtable and Zendesk: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Airtable's Views and Linked records), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Airtable: REST API (per-base Web API plus metadata and webhooks endpoints). Authentication: OAuth (Airtable OAuth grant to specific bases or all resources); the authorizing user must have a `creator` role, since only creator roles can create webhooks. Zendesk: REST API. Authentication: OAuth app authorization: enter your Zendesk subdomain (from {sub_domain_name}.zendesk.com) in Stacksync Connections and click "Authorize App". Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Zendesk: Ticket comments cannot be edited after creation, so downstream copies of conversations only ever append. Airtable: Computed field types such as formulas, lookups, and rollups are read-only over the API, so bi-directional syncs must map writes to source fields. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Airtable and Zendesk without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Airtable and Zendesk records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Airtable and Zendesk connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Airtable–Zendesk integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Airtable and Zendesk. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
