Two-way sync
Changes in Airtable or Anaplan instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Keep Airtable and Anaplan in sync without custom scripts. Cut weeks of integration work, eliminate silent data drift, and give your team a single, reliable source of truth.
Engineers need finance data more often than finance systems make it easy to get: for internal tools, reporting services, or logic that reacts to invoices and payments. Working through the vendor API means rate limits, pagination, and glue code that has to be maintained forever.
Stacksync mirrors Models, Modules, Line Items, Lists from Anaplan into Records, Fields, Views, Linked records in Airtable and keeps the two in sync bi-directionally and in real time. Your services read finance records with normal queries against Airtable, and rows your code writes or updates flow back into Anaplan with validation, so the finance system stays the system of record.
Build dashboards and back-office tools directly on Airtable; Stacksync handles the API calls, rate limits, and retries against Anaplan.
Updates written to the synced tables in Airtable propagate into Anaplan, so automations can create or correct finance records without custom integration code.
Changes in Anaplan appear in Airtable as row changes, so you can trigger downstream logic with the database tooling you already use.
Representative objects on each side — any object or custom field can map to any target. Schemas are auto-detected; types are converted between the two systems.
| Airtable objects | Anaplan objects | |
|---|---|---|
| Attachments File fields exposed as expiring URLs that syncs can mirror to other systems. | Modules Multidimensional grids of line items where plan data lives; the main read/write surface. | |
| Collaborators User fields useful for mapping record ownership to accounts in a CRM or database. | Line Items The measures within a module, mapped to columns or metrics in syncs. | |
| Bases Top-level containers; each base has its own API endpoint and schema. | Lists Dimension members (accounts, products, cost centers) synced from master data systems. | |
| Tables Map to sync tables; schema is readable through the base metadata endpoints. | List Items Individual dimension members created or updated from external systems of record. | |
| Records The row-level unit created, updated, and deleted during syncs, identified by rec-prefixed IDs. | Versions Scenario dimensions (actual, budget, forecast) that scope which slice a sync reads or writes. | |
| Fields Typed columns including linked records, lookups, and rollups; computed fields are read-only in syncs. | Import and Export Actions Predefined data-movement definitions the Bulk API executes. |
Real-time sync, workflow automation, event queues, EDI, and monitoring, for every Airtable–Anaplan connection.
Changes in Airtable or Anaplan instantly reflect in both systems. No stale data, no manual imports.
Trigger automated workflows whenever Airtable or Anaplan data changes, update records, fire webhooks, or kick off sequences without brittle API scripts.
Handle millions of events per minute without losing a single Airtable or Anaplan record.
Track your Airtable ⇄ Anaplan sync health, view errors, and replay failed events in one click.
Transform legacy EDI complexity into simple database interactions between Airtable and Anaplan.
Configure and sync within minutes, no code. Whether you sync 50k or 100M+ records, Stacksync handles the queues, infra, and plumbing. Integrations are non-invasive and need zero setup on your systems.
Authenticate Airtable and Anaplan with each platform's native method — OAuth, API keys, or service accounts — plus secure options like SSH tunneling, IP whitelisting, and VPC peering.
Pick the Airtable and Anaplan objects to sync — Stacksync auto-detects both schemas, including custom fields where the platform exposes them. Sync to existing tables, or let Stacksync create new ones with ideal data types.
Fields map automatically even when names and types differ. Stacksync handles transformation and type casting for you, zero configuration required.
Yes. Stacksync provides a managed, real-time two-way integration between Airtable and Anaplan: authenticate both systems, choose the objects to sync (such as Airtable's Attachments and Collaborators), map fields visually, and changes propagate both ways in milliseconds — no code required.
Airtable: REST API (per-base Web API plus metadata and webhooks endpoints). Authentication: OAuth (Airtable OAuth grant to specific bases or all resources); the authorizing user must have a `creator` role, since only creator roles can create webhooks. Anaplan: REST APIs: a Bulk API that runs predefined import/export actions and a transactional API for model metadata and cell data. Authentication: Token-based sessions obtained via basic authentication, CA certificates, or OAuth 2.0 through Anaplan's authentication service. Stacksync manages authentication, retries, and rate limits on both sides.
Anaplan: Anaplan's in-memory engine recalculates dependent line items on write, so loads propagate through model formulas immediately. Airtable: Computed field types such as formulas, lookups, and rollups are read-only over the API, so bi-directional syncs must map writes to source fields. Stacksync's field mapping accounts for these differences between Airtable and Anaplan without custom code.
Stacksync is SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001 certified with HIPAA BAA support. Data is encrypted in transit, and a zero-persistent-storage architecture means Airtable and Anaplan records are not retained after a sync operation.
Stacksync pricing is usage-based and starts at $1,000/month, including the managed Airtable and Anaplan connectors, real-time two-way sync, monitoring, and support. That replaces building and maintaining a custom Airtable–Anaplan integration in-house.
Yes — Stacksync ships production-grade connectors for both Airtable and Anaplan. The connectors handle authentication, schema detection, rate limits, and retries; you configure the sync, and Stacksync operates it.
As a data company, we understand the importance of keeping your data secure. Stacksync is built with security best practices to keep your data safe at every layer, and is DPF-certified for US, EU, UK and CH data transfers.
